Lead Free Brass also known as Yellow Brass or Muntz Metal comes with about 60% Copper, 40% Zinc and minor traces of other impurities. Due to the specific mixture of different metals, this alloy is highly resistant to corrosion in the high seas. Because of its cost effective nature and incredible durability, it has grown past its original maritime use to architectural, plumbing and industrial applications.
CW509L is a high copper and lead free alloy with a nominal level of impurities. It is used as a cost effective replacement for leaded machining brass when lead content is required less than 0.10%, with conditions of no higher demand of mechanical properties and corrosion resistance. Also known as "Muntz Metal", this alloy offers excellent hot working properties for corrosion-resistant machine parts.

All bars manufactured at AEPL are supplied with full certifications helping us to deliver the exact specification demanded by our specific customer base.
AEPL manufactures and supplies Copper Alloys Extruded Bars to Domestic as well as International Markets. Our customer base has a key advantage since our Foundries, Laboratories, Extrusion Mill, Shell Mouldings and CNC Machine shop are all located on a single site, which eliminates waste and allows excellent quality control at each stage. Our ability to reclaim swarf and machined chips allows us to offer competitive pricing for the parts that we either extrude or cast. For further details, please visit the below link.
