Hexagonal extruded bars are metal bars that are shaped with six sides, are produced using an extrusion process, which involves forcing a metal billet through a die to create the desired shape that results in a uniform cross-section along the entire length of the bar. These rods are commonly made from materials such as copper, brass or other alloys.
The hexagonal shape offers increased strength and stability compared to a circular shape of the same diameter, making them ideal for applications requiring high strength-to-weight ratios. These castings are then transformed into finished components using technologies such as Drilling, Grinding, and CNC turning centres. Our ability to reclaim swarf and machined chips enables us to offer competitive pricing for the parts that we either extrude or cast.
